Cook – Arbors/Ivy Assisted Living Part-Time and Part-Time positions available. 24 hour a week cook position available, 3 shifts a week 40 hour a week cook position available, 5 shifts a week Do you love to cook—and take real pride in how your food looks and tastes? Are you the kind of cook who steps out of the kitchen to ask, “How was everything?” and truly wants the answer? We’re looking for someone who cares about presentation, follows recipes and guidelines, and takes ownership of every plate that leaves the kitchen. Someone who understands that meals are one of the most important parts of a resident’s day. At Arbors/Ivy, dining is about comfort, connection, and quality—and we want a cook who feels the same way. What You’ll Do

• Prepare meals according to recipes, dietary needs, and safety guidelines
• Present food with care, pride, and attention to detail
• Step out to connect with residents and gather feedback
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Support the chef and kitchen team as needed
• Take pride in every meal served

Requirements

• Ability to read and prepare recipes independently
• Working knowledge of cooking fundamentals
• Serve-Safe certification (or ability to obtain)
• Allergy awareness and anti-choking training
• Must be at least 18 years old
